The Honda Accord has captivated drivers in the Richardson area and beyond over the last several decades, and it introduces a few exciting improvements for the 2023 model year. In 2023, the Accord continues to be offered in six trim options: the LX, the EX, the Sport, the EX-L, the Sport-L, and the Touring. The 2023 Honda Accord Sport is the first of four trim levels with a hybrid engine now standard. This is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter system that produces 204 combined horsepower, and it has a front-wheel drive design.
The Accord has the new 12.3-inch touch display screen and Google-based technologies at this trim level. These are combined with other desired features from the 2022 Accord Sport, including wireless smart device app connections and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Accord Sport also has many features available in the lower trim levels. These include a sunroof, an eight-speaker audio system, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping, two USB-C ports, a digital instrument cluster, and a wireless internet hotspot.
The Sport and all of the other 2023 Accord trims boast a refreshed exterior design. A sporty, fastback profile establishes this new look. It also has revamped side doors with a thick, linear accent on the lower panels and a slightly arched pinstripe on the upper panels. The Accord's nose shows off a redesigned, aggressive bumper with a reshaped grille. The LED-topped headlights have also been redesigned and now have an extended, angled shape. The Sport trim has 19-inch wheels.
