 What's New for the 2024 Honda CR-V?
The sixth generation of the Honda CR-V launched in 2023 with bumper-to-bumper improvements, and Honda has made another exciting update to the CR-V for the 2024 model year. Specifically, the Sport-L trim is added to the lineup. The trim levels from lowest to highest are the LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Sport Touring. The Sport-L blends the appealing qualities of the EX-L and the Sport trims. It is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine with 204 horsepower. The exterior of the CR-V Sport-L has dark accents and roof rails. Inside, you can take advantage of dual rear USB ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, low-speed auto braking, an eight-speaker sound system, a wireless charging station, a power liftgate, driver's memory settings and wireless connections for the smart device apps.
This same hybrid engine is also available with the Sport and Sport Touring trim levels. The other 2024 CR-V trim levels have a 190-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 1.5-liter engine with a CVT. All trims except the Sport Touring are available with front-wheel drive or the option for all-wheel drive. The Sport Touring trim level has standard all-wheel drive.
The features offered across the carryover trim levels are unchanged. The base LX trim includes a four-speaker sound system, a 7-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a push-button ignition starter, adaptive cruise control, forward collision sensing with auto braking, and lane keeping assistance. Higher trims build on these features and may include a moonroof, heated front seats, a more advanced sound system, and a dual-zone climate management system. The top Sport Touring trim also has features like a blind-spot warning, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, rear cross-traffic sensors, a hands-free liftgate, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, and ambient cabin lights.
