2023 Honda CR-V vs 2022 Honda CR-V
Serving Richardson, TX
The CR-V is a compact crossover SUV placed directly above the HR-V in the Honda lineup. In 2023, the beautiful CR-V breaks into its sixth generation. It introduces fresh styling across the interior and exterior and updated features. Our Lute Riley Honda associates are happy to support your research on the CR-V's model years and trim levels. When you take a closer look, what differences will you uncover between the 2022 and 2023 Honda CR-V?
Performance
From a performance perspective, the 2022 Honda CR-V is identical to the 2023 version. The first several trims receive 190 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a continuously variable transmission. Honda has eliminated the CR-V Hybrid as an independent model for 2023, so the upper trims for 2023 have the hybrid powertrain. This system includes two electric motors mated to a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. The result is an output of 204 total system power.
Appearance
While the 2022 Honda CR-V is easy on the eyes with its athletic styling and confident definition through the sides, the 2023 CR-V introduces a fresh look from end to end. A larger grille now defines the nose with redesigned mesh. The headlights take on a new shape and are slanted and integrated with the grille. The hood is now taller and sleeker, and the side accentuation has been fine-tuned. It now has a pinstripe that runs from nose to tail as well as deep lower accentuation between the fenders.
Features
Inside the cabin, you will also find a modernized look and an updated interface for the infotainment system. This updated interface resolves tech functionality that some drivers of the 2022 CR-V may have dealt with. For 2023, you can enjoy a 7-inch or 9-inch touch display screen, a Bose premium sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, leather material, traffic sign recognition, a rear seat reminder, a driver drowsiness monitor, heated front seats, a sunroof, a push-button engine starter and a host of other features that may vary by trim level.
