2024 Honda Pilot vs 2024 Toyota Highlander

Serving Richardson, TX

The midsize Honda Pilot SUV and the Toyota Highlander both come with three rows of seating and are frequently compared to each other. For 2024, the Honda Pilot is unchanged. The Highlander is also unchanged except for the loss of its base L trim option. What are the core differences between the 2024 Pilot and the 2024 Highlander?

Performance

The six trim levels for the 2024 Honda Pilot have the same engine. This 3.5-liter, V6 gas system generates 285 horsepower—a 10-speed auto transmission pairs with front-wheel drive. Most trims also have optional all-wheel drive. The TrailSport and Elite trims, however, come with standard all-wheel drive. The five Highlander trim levels for 2024 have a turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 265 horsepower. All have an eight-speed auto transmission with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The 2024 Pilot's facade is modern and easy on the eyes with its flat hood and subtle curves over the roof and the door panels. The grille fades downward and has a staggered mesh pattern. Metallic accents highlight the front bumper and the bold air inlets. The angled headlights have a lower accent bar and a pair of rectangular bulbs. The 2024 Toyota Highlander has a molded look with a dramatic swell flowing across the door panels and above the rear fender. A chrome element completely surrounds the A-style grille, and the flat grille also has an A-style shape. Both the fog light ports and the headlights are sharply shaped.

Features

If you opt for the Honda Pilot, your SUV may have a surround-view camera, a head-up display, a heated windshield, wireless smartphone app connections, heated first and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a wireless internet hotspot, a panoramic moonroof, ambient lights, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, a navigation system, a household power outlet, second-row captain's chairs, and Honda Sensing safety tech. The Highlander's standard features are a tri-zone climate control system, a digital instrument panel, keyless entry, a keyless ignition, a power liftgate, and several safety technologies.

The 2024 Honda Pilot is an impressive three-row midsize SUV, and the differences between the 2024 Pilot trim levels are extensive and require a closer look. Please drop by our Lute Riley Honda showroom today for complete details.
