Performance
When you test drive the 2019 and 2020 Honda CR-V crossovers, you will feel the difference that the powertrain update makes. Specifically, the 2020 CR-V now has a 1.5-liter turbo engine as a standard feature. It generates 190 horsepower. Across the four trim levels, this powertrain comes with a continuously variable transmission with a sport mode. Power steering, anti-locking brakes, a MacPherson front strut, and idle-stop are standard features.
Appearance
The updates to the 2020 CR-V are also apparent with a visual inspection of the exteriors. Honda has retouched many of the CR-V’s exterior features, such as the grille and lights.
