2023 Honda CR-V vs 2023 Nissan Rogue

Serving Richardson, TX

Local drivers searching for a compact crossover SUV have long compared the popular Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue. In 2023, the Honda CR-V will bring extensive updates online with the debut of its sixth generation. The 2023 Rogue also has a minor update. With improvements to both vehicles, a deeper look is in order.

Performance

Most of the 2023 Honda CR-V's trims receive 190 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The two Sport trims have a hybrid four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that offers 204 combined horsepower. In comparison, only one powertrain is available for the 2023 Rogue. This is a three-cylinder turbo engine that produces 201 horsepower.

Appearance

The CR-V displays a front-to-rear redesign for the 2023 model year for modernized appeal. The look is set by defined sides with rounded contouring and a bold bar of black molding. The front end has a pair of LED-topped headlights that angle inward toward the upturned grille. The bumper is accented with a narrow band of black molding and rounds over two-sided air vents. The 2023 Nissan Rogue, on the other hand, is essentially unchanged on the exterior. However, the SV trim is now available with the optional Midnight Edition. The Rogue is distinguished by stacked yet separated LED headlights and a thick, U-shaped bar that underlines the grille.

Features

While the 2023 CR-V and the 2023 Rogue have many of the same features, there are a few differences to learn about. Both come with a head-up display, heated front, and rear seats, a wireless charging pad, a digital instrument screen, leather upholstery, an auto climate control system, adaptive cruise control, a navigation system, an auto-dimming rear mirror, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The CR-V has additional features, including automated parking, a Sync 4 infotainment system, ambient cabin lights, and several others.
