TLDR: My husband and I went to look at Honda Accords with no intention to buy that day. Jeff, Kenny, and Clint were awesome! Very professional, patient, and helpful. As first time car buyers who have been shopping around for months, we appreciated that the staff we worked with were not pushy or aggressive in terms of trying to sell us a car. We ended up leaving with a car and everyone stayed late to help us close the deal! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My husband and I went in yesterday for the sole purpose of looking at Honda Accords. We were met at the door by Jeff (Sales Consultant) who helped us throughout the car buying process. Jeff was not pushy or aggressive to make a sale, which after months of shopping around, we really appreciated. He took the time to ask what exactly my husband was looking for and helped us do an online search of what the dealership currently had, which helped narrow down what we should look at outside. We only looked at one car, a 2013 Honda Accord. He was very knowledgeable about the car and was patient in answering any and all questions we had. My husband stated his interest, but we were still unaware that we were going to buy a car. After speaking with Kenny (Sales Manager) he decided to make a few calls. Kenny was extremely helpful and honest with us throughout the process. As first time car buyers, I know we asked him a ton of questions and he happily answered all of them. He even gave us tips on what to ask when looking at pricing of cars at other dealerships and how to look for hidden costs that may not be included in the stated "price" of a car. We actually took his advice and asked him the questions he recommended we ask. He answered them all and then some. My husband decided to move forward and see what kind of financing options he would have. Jeff and Kenny helped us fill out the forms and explained what they thought we could expect in terms of payments after my husband's credit score was run. From there, we worked with Clint (Finance Manager). We went back to his office to complete the forms and finalize a monthly payment. Clint was very detailed in his explanations on Honda Care, Gap Insurance, and other optional services (tires, ding protection, and more). He also explained how something my husband decided to get would change payments and his APR. I didn't initially understand how the change worked, and I said "That's okay, as long as my husband understands, that's fine. It's his car, his payments." He insisted that he explain in a way that I could understand as well, even though I wasn't the direct customer. That's something I really appreciated! When it was time to sign all the final paperwork, he acknowledged that we were first time car buyers and encouraged my husband to read through the contract and ask any questions. It probably took 30 minutes for my husband to sign everything and get all of his questions asked, but he never felt rushed or pressured, even though we were sitting at Clint's desk an hour and fifteen minutes after the store had closed! After all the papers were signed and copies were made, Jeff was there to take our experience one step further, even though it was already 10:30pm. He gave us a tour of the car repair and service center and even helped my husband learn about his new car a bit more by going through some of the cars features available on the screen and steering wheel (bluetooth, buttons, and whatever else was there, I wasn't really paying attention...). He even offered to take our picture in front of the car! After all was said and done, we left the dealership at 10:50ish with our new car. We are truly excited to have a new car and grateful for the professionalism and patience we received at Lute Riley Honda. Thank you!
